Sacred Heart Parish commissioned DKA to renovate the interior of the church and give it a brighter, more dignified, and more colorful appearance in time for the celebration of its 100th anniversary.
DKA analyzed the utilization of space and created a new layout for the church interior. The dropped ceiling that was installed during a previous renovation to hide the air conditioning system was removed and the Air conditioning system was relocated to the attic. This revealed the original wooden ceiling that was previously hidden, giving the church a warmer and more open atmosphere.
Renovations included a new layout, color scheme with decorative stenciling, marble altar, liturgical furniture, Predella, lighting and sound systems, and additional seating.
